3E Core Rules

Now that your campaign's Rac has gathered all of the necessary information to have a fun game, it is time for you all to sit down and roll some dice together. What Racs can literally bring to the table for a game will amaze you. There are plenty of monsters to kill, treasure to gather, and lives to save. However, with this exciting adventure comes lots of learning (that does not feel like learning in the traditional sense); including social learning math and reading skills, communication, teamwork and encouragement. Since Holy Lands RPG is a role-playing game in which you play the role of a character, you typically play that role as a member of an adventuring party with other players sitting right next to you at the table. It will take all of you learning and growing and working together to overcome some of the obstacles you will encounter in an adventure. In so doing, you will see how you can only overcome some situations through sharing, patience, and complete dependence in someone else. To bring this thought full circle, sure, you can kill as many monsters as you like, but rest assured your character alone would need to both help as well as have help from others if he or she is to get very far. Of course, if you make it out of (wherever) alive, your character gets a piece of what the Rac has set aside for the group! |
