Rolling for your Character
The first thing you, the player, will do to start a game is create a Player Character. You will then take this PC through the Raconteur's adventures. As a player, you will need to make decisions for your character, such as deciding what to say, where to go, and what to do. You are able to develop your PC as different and unique as you are. All characters have both strengths and weaknesses that can help and hinder them and others. Characters also have skills, abilities, and personalities all their own, which you have the creative responsibility to "bring to life" in the adventure. There are many different aspects to a Player Character, and many different ways to "put them to use," so to speak. Your character uses these aspects to accomplish various objectives throughout the story, and every productive activity your PC achieves within the game helps your character grow. |
