Speaking for your Character
Your job as the player is to declare what your character will and will not do. It's the Rac's job to mold and modify the story based on your character's actions, so pay attention – what you declare as your PC's actions can be very important to the story. Some Rac's may hold you exactly to your word when you declare actions, even if you're joking, but this should be discouraged. Since you are not actually there, the Rac should give you the benefit of the doubt to take your character's actions back when you legitimately misunderstand the story's perspective. Nevertheless, if the Rac feels that you declared an action in which you had sufficient understanding of the situation, whether or not it ended up disastrous, you could be stuck with the action's consequences. |
